grey clouds cover a gloomy afternoon
a gentle reminder that the rain will come soon
the dark cloud thickens, the sky is mourning
an ambiance perfectly fit for his longing
something that starts always come to an end
the sun rises and sets, that we comprehend
just as when the heart stopped beating
is it really an end to a life worth living?
when lost things go, it’s often misplaced
gone but not forgotten is the exact phrase
memories will live on, generations will tell
favorable are those who live life well
he thought of kindness and everything nice,
trying to recall a piece of good advice.
the rain droplets wipe his tears away
he knew everything will be fine, someday…

Thanks for passing this on, it’s beautifully restrained. “Rain drops wipe his tears away” was a poignant note to trail off with.
