SANDCASTLES

notice the ripples along the shore
a perfect example that less creates more
as sandcastles are being washed away
nothing seems to help and make it stay
neither being mad nor being sad
impossible to be glad, surely feeling bad
a notion usually comes when in doubt
hopefully not a passion fading out
everybody wants to turn back time
to correct a flawlessly flawed rhyme
just as sandcastles turn back to sand
grab some, build more, make a stand

  1. ‘everybody wants to turn back time
to correct a flawlessly flawed rhyme’

During my poetry studio back at university, it was good practice to quote a part that resonated most.
This did it for me. ❤
